A status yellow rain warning is currently in effect for County Waterford.

The advisory has been issued by Met Eireann and is in effect until 6pm this evening for County Waterford and the entirety of Leinster.

People are being advised that there will be heavy rain with a chance of isolated thunderstorms – leading to localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
