Gardaí responded to report of a public order incident in the Ardkeen area of Waterford city this afternoon, Wednesday, 4th February 2026.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene has since been charged.

He is due to appear before the courts at a later date.

Gardaí Investigations are ongoing.
