A 78-acre holding of land in Waterford City is to be sold at auction next month.

The land, which comprises both residential and agricultural land is cited as having strong development potential.

Three lots are to be auctioned on April 10th at noon in the Woodlands Hotel by Purcell Properties.

The first lot is a two-storey residence and outbuildings on 31.8 acres.

Situated beside Ballygunner GAA Club, the land is located in a much-sought after area adjacent to the Bishopcourt Road.

This lot has a pricetag of 1.25 million euros.

The second lot is the remainder of the land, 46.3 acres and this has an asking price of 925,000 euros.

This lot is also adjacent to the Bishopcourt Road, in Grantstown and situated directly opposite the initial plot of land.

Both lots can be bought for 2.175 million.

The land is located approximately 2.5 miles from Waterford City Centre and will be auctioned on April 10th unless sold ahead of the planned auction.
