Residents in areas Waterford City are currently experiencing a power outage affecting 3,154 customers.

The issue was first reported at 10:37 AM today.

The fault is believed to be as a result of a sub-station in the Grange area.

ESB has apologised for the loss of supply and is actively working to repair the fault.

Crews are on-site to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.

Residents are advised to check the power checker website for the latest updates and estimated restoration times if you are in the affected area.
