
Planning permission has been received for the construction of an apartment block in Waterford City.
The application was submitted to Waterford City and County Council in recent days.
Applicant David Power is seeking to demolish an existing Mechanic Garage and Workshop and replace with 10 Apartments in a Single 4 Storey Block at Summerhill in Waterford.
Works will comprise a single apartment block containing five one-bedroom apartments, two two-bedroom Apartments, as well as three three-bedroom apartments.
Also included, if approved, will be a refuse storage area on the Ground Floor, a Communal Bike storage area, solar Panels on the roof, and works to lower the existing stone boundary wall.
The development would be connected to the existing public sewer along with all associated site development works
A decision is due back by April 28th.
