Planning permission sought for apartment building on Penrose Lane

Planning permission has been requested for Waterford city centre for the construction of a 4-storey apartment building.

Local real estate, development and management organisation The Causeway Group have applied to construct the development on Penrose Lane.

It is proposed to construct a four-storey apartment building over the existing basement carpark

Three apartments with three bedrooms each are intended for the first, second and third floor level.

It is proposed to build a two-bed apartment on the ground floor of the building.

Permission is also requested for the implementation of a new bike and bin storage area at ground level, as well as all associated site works.

Planning was granted previously to Martin Barrett in 2002 for the development of 8 one-bedroom apartments, however the development didn't materialise.
