Planning permission is being sought for the construction of new accommodation in Kilmacthomas.

An application seeking permission for the construction of 14 single storey accommodation units and one single storey office unit on the outskirts of Kilmacthomas has been lodged with Waterford City and County Council.

The application from Catherine and Niall Barry also seeks permission for internal roads, paths and car parking, and all associated site works.

The proposed development is located within a Protected Structure at Union Road, Kilmacthomas.

Submissions on the proposal can be made until April 20th, with a decision expected by May 11th.
