A six-week road closure in Tramore was announced during the week with the purpose of facilitating essential roadworks.
WLR News contacted Waterford Council this morning to request further details on the proposed works and the duration of the road closures.
In response, a spokesperson says: "BHA Construction Ltd. is constructing a housing estate opposite Tramore racecourse and had initially intended on closing the road to connect services.
However, currently, the road is not being closed currently and instead a traffic management system is in operation."
