A person has been arrested following a petrol bomb attack in Waterford in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Gardaí in Waterford say they are investigating a criminal damage incident at a house in Ardmore Park.
At approximately 2.30, an accelerant, believed to be petrol, was thrown through the window of the house causing damage to the window and items in the front room.
Gardaí and Waterford Fire Service attended the scene, and no one was injured.
An arrest has been made in this case.
