Emergency Services responded to reports of a person in distress in Waterford in the early hours of this morning.
Reports indicated a person in distress on Rice Bridge in Waterford City.
The call-out was attended by Waterford City River Rescue, the Irish Coast Guard, and An Garda Siochana.
The incident was successfully resolved by Gardaí, and the individual brought to safety.
