People's Park subjected to four nights of vandalism

Waterford's People Park has again been the subject of vandalism overnight.

A group are believed to have used power tools to damage fencing while a wheelchair-accessible swing was also vandalised.

It's the fourth night in a row that amenities have been vandalised.

Cllr. Frank Quinlan has condemned the behaviour, and says without CCTV and adequate lighting, problems will not stop anytime soon.

He told WLR News that the vandalism has been particularly disheartening for Council workers.
