
Gardaí have confirmed details following a road traffic collision on the Upper Yellow Road in Waterford City that occurred at approximately 2:30pm this afternoon.
The collision involved a car and a pedestrian. Emergency services, including Gardaí and ambulance personnel, attended the scene shortly after the incident occurred.
Ambulance crews treated the pedestrian, a female teenager, at the scene. Gardaí have confirmed that no serious injuries have been reported at this time.
Gardaí closed the Upper Yellow Road temporarily to facilitate emergency response and ensure public safety. Authorities put traffic diversions in place while crews worked at the scene.
The road has since reopened to traffic, and normal travel conditions have resumed in the area.
Gardaí say enquiries are ongoing.
