Plans for another 21 rooms at Park Hotel Dungarvan
Planning permission is currently being sought from Waterford City and County Council to add additional capacity to a Dungarvan hotel.
The Park Hotel Dungarvan currently offers 86 bedrooms and 15 self-catering holiday homes that can equip up to 5 adults.
In an application submitted to the local authority on May 27th, Meladon Limited has sought permission for the addition of an extra 21 bedrooms and associated service rooms along with associated works and services.
If approved, this would bring the hotel capacity up to 107 bedrooms.
A decision is expected from Waterford City and County Council on or before July 21st of this year.
