Members of the Palestinian Freedom Flotilla Coalition will be in Waterford today and tomorrow.
They will be meeting with local trade unions, political representatives, and community groups to highlight their work.
Speaking to WLR News, Sinn Fein Councillor John Hearne detailed what's happening today.
"We were hoping to have the boat here, but unfortunately it broke down. The delegates will arrive at mid-day and will meet with different political parties and community groups.
"At 3:00 P: M in John Roberts Square, there will be an information event to highlight the ongoing troubles in Palestine.
"At 5:30 in St. Patricks Gateway, the Palestinian community will put on food. There will be a public meeting up there, and they will explain their mission and what the Freedom of Flotilla is about. We are hoping that the Palestinian and other communities will support Palestine. We would love everyone to attend St. Patricks Gateway this evening."
