Hundreds attend peaceful protest in support of Palestine

Hundreds of people in Waterford City attended a peaceful protest yesterday to express solidarity with the people of Palestine.
The march for Palestine was organised by the South East branch of the The Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC).
The march started at the Bullpost in Ballybricken before moving onto Patrick’s Street, Broad Street, Meagher’s Quay, Merchant’s Quay, Vulcan Street, Thomas Street, across the Glen and back to the Bullpost where speeches and music rounded out proceedings.
Organisers said: “This is not just a protest. It’s a cry from the heart, a call for justice – and a stand against genocide.”
