The overall winner of the popular Win a House in Waterford draw has been revealed.

Waterford GAA Supporters’ Club’s eagerly anticipated draw was held at The Viking Hotel last night.

There were 12, 397 entries.

The winner of the three bedroom house at Brookfield, Kilbarry or €335,000 in cash was Graham Lynam.

The ticket was purchased in the USA but attributed to Clonea GAA Club.

Meanwhile, the winner of a trip to the value of €4,000 was Robert Peare through the Mount Sion GAA Club.

John Ryan, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary won a week in Lanzarote to the value of €3,000.

James Power, Old Parish, was the winner of a Premier League Match Weekend (Manchester Utd v Liverpool).

The fifth prize winner of the European weekend to the value of €1,500 was Roisin Brennan, Loughlinstown in Dublin.

Speaking to WLR, Waterford GAA Treasurer Kieran Geary said the draw will hugely benefit all teams.

“These funds will support our underage structure and teams, schools and clubs,” he added.

“We’ve experienced success this summer – it’s about driving that on again.”
