A spokesperson for the HSE spoke to WLR saying “As a hospital with regional services, UHW would have staff, patients, and visitors from other parts of the South East. During times like that concerning the severe weather warnings, in co-operation with staff, arrangements such as those made overnight can be put in place to ensure maximum safety (including as regards travelling to and from the workplace and ensuring essential services are maintained)”
