A Waterford Councillor says he hopes the organisers of the All Together Now festival take on board the traffic problems that occurred for those
attending it on Friday.
The cleanup operation is continuing at the Curraghmore Estate in County Waterford.
The venue played host to over 22 thousand festival-goers over the weekend.
The Organisers of the All Together Now Festival say they will continue to improve and evolve the festival.

For those who didn't, we all have things to improve on for next year. We need to work together! ♻️🌍#LeaveNoTrace pic.twitter.com/cT42TPfE8n

The event was not without its issues with horrific traffic problems on Friday and long delays again yesterday as some people reported being in their cars for up to 2 hours trying to get out of the car parks.
Local Sinn Fein Councillor Declan Clune says that while the festival was a success, the community in Portlaw has been left disappointed.
“The festival itself was spectacular.
“Anybody I spoke to up there was raving about it.
“From Portlaw’s perspective, we were very disappointed as a community that there were no shuttle buses going from the village up to the main gate and that obviously tied into the traffic congestion issue on Friday as well.”
He says the village still had huge traffic coming through on Friday.
“People were told specifically not to come through Portlaw, but they were obviously going to come through Portlaw because that’s where Curraghmore is.
“The whole village was gridlocked on Friday for hours.”
Centra Manager in Portlaw, John O’Leary said the event did provide a boost for his business.
“It was good in fairness a lot of tourists came mingling with the locals and brought a bit of a buzz to the village.
“Heavy traffic, it was at a standstill at the roundabout for a while, I know there was heavy traffic coming from Carrick and Piltown and all those places.
“There was a bit of negativity about traffic but overall I think people were happy enough with it, it brought a little bit of business to the village.
“Hopefully it will go from strength to strength next year.”
