
Planning permission has been sought for to develop the lands housing the former Old Tramore Hotel.
Located on Strand Street, the site has been derelict for many years, with a fire causing extensive damage to the structure in 2018.
Cosmo Developments Newtown Ltd has been an established company since 2022.
Developments proposed at the site consist of the complete demolition of the existing structure and outbuildings.
Following that, it is proposed to build a 3-storey over lower ground building,
This building, known as Building A, will consist of six 3-bedroom 2-storey plus mansard apartments, as well as two 1-bedroom lower ground floor apartments.
Block B will be a 3-storey duplex building consisting of three 2-bedroom duplex units.
Also included in the plans is a new site entrance retaining walls, and all associated works.
Submissions regarding the development will be accepted for the next five weeks.
