The number of patients with Covid-19 at University Hospital Waterford has fallen to its lowest level in more than six weeks.
According to the HSE, there were 39 patients with the virus at the facility last night.
There were no new admissions during the previous 24 hours.
The last time the figure was below 40 in Waterford was the 7th of January.
The number of patients with Covid-19 in intensive care remains unchanged at four.

690 people with Covid-19 were receiving treatment in Irish hospitals this morning - the first time the figure has fallen below 700 since early January.
It's a 4 per cent decrease from yesterday's total, while it's 19 per cent down on last Tuesday.
In the past 24 hours, there were 43 admissions to and 44 discharges from hospitals.
Overnight there were 156 people in ICU, which was the highest number in over a week.
