Numbers in intensive care with Covid-19 increase to 6 in South East

Six people with Covid-19 are in intensive care in the South East.

Three patients with the virus are in ICU at St Luke's in Kilkenny, two are in critical care at University Hospital Waterford and one in Wexford.

That's according to the HSE's Daily Operations Update.

In total there were 41 confirmed cases of the virus in hospitals in the South East last night.

There were 23 in Kilkenny, 11 in Waterford, 4 in Wexford and 3 in South Tipperary.

The Waterford figure has increased from 10 on Wednesday night.
