There is no short term solution to addressing the issue of flooding in Tallow.
That's according to Senior Engineer (Roads) with Waterford Council, Gabriel Hynes.
The area experienced severe flooding last October during Storm Babet.
"We don't have a short term solution," Mr Hynes told this week's Dungarvan/Lismore District meeting of Waterford Council.

Mr Hynes described the rainfall which was experienced as "high intensity" and "unprecedented in that catchment area".
East Cork, particularly Midleton, experienced significant issues at the time as did other areas in West Waterford.
