
With the worst of Storm Dave having passed overnight, ESB have reported no blackouts or power outages across Waterford City and County.
Recent data from ESB Power Check have shown that while thousands of homes, farms and businesses nationwide are without power, Waterford was not as widely affected.
ESB have said that crews have been mobilised across the country to restore electricity to those impacted nationwide.
While the worst of the storm has passed , colder but calmer weather is expected for the rest of the Bank Holiday.
However motorists are still advised to exercise caution when driving around Waterford City and County and to beware of any potential fallen trees or debris on the roads.
