No increase in Covid patients at University Hospital Waterford

For the second day in a row there are no patients with Covid-19 in intensive care at University Hospital Waterford.

However, there are two suspected cases in ICU.

That's according to the HSE daily operations update.

There's are two confirmed cases of coronavirus on site while an additional three patients are awaiting test results.

The Department of Health has also confirmed that 140 people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in Waterford since the outbreak began. That's up to midnight on Tuesday and is an increase of one since Monday.

Elsewhere in the South East, there are 132 cases in Carlow, 190 in Wexford and 265 in Kilkenny. Tipperary has 506 confirmed cases.
