There is no change in the 14-day incidence rate of Covid-19 in Waterford.

There was a sharp fall in the rate yesterday from 98 cases per 100,000 people to 67.

The rate remains at 67, that's after 7 more cases were confirmed for Waterford yesterday.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre reports that 78 people were diagnosed with Covid-19 in Waterford in the two weeks up to midnight on Sunday.

Donegal continues to have the highest incident rate in the country, it's now up to 191 per 100,000.

In Dublin, it's 160 and in Monaghan, it's 115.

University Hospital Waterford

There is no change either in the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 at University Hospital Waterford.

There were 4 confirmed cases on-site at 8 o'clock last night, according to the HSE's Daily Operations Update.

A further 8 suspected cases were awaiting the results of testing at the time.

There were no confirmed nor suspected cases in critical care at the time.
