Teenagers in West Waterford could benefit from a new employment service.
Monere Development Services in Cappoquin is partnering with local businesses to provide jobs for young people as part of a new West Waterford Teenage Jobs Club.
CEO and Founder of Monere, Monica Murphy, set up the service online and is inviting local employers to get involved.
Speaking on 'Deise Today', she says recruiters from a range of sectors can reach out.
"It's a brainwave I've had with quite a while but I finally got around to doing something about it," she explained.
"Employers such as local farmers, business owners, shop owners, restaurant owners, people who might not usually go to a recruitment agency to find staff, can get in touch."
She hopes more and more employers will engage with the service as it becomes more established.
