Ireland's first 'Game of Thrones' themed escape room has opened in Waterford City.
'The Great Escape', which is based on O'Connell Street, have created a brand new puzzle adventure based around the blockbuster fantasy novels and TV show.
Manager Marc Ryan says they've put a lot of work into the new room with props, shields and a massive 'chandelier'. He told WLR news that "there's been a couple of Harry Potter rooms around Europe but there's never been a Game of Thrones one." He added that "to bring the very first one to Ireland and to Waterford is fantastic."
Teams of between two and seven people have 60 minutes to explore the room for clues, keys, combinations and escape before the timer runs out. There's also Cluedo, Prison Break and a Madness or a Brilliant Mind? themed rooms.
