Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a three-car collision on the N25 just outside Dungarvan this evening.

The collision occurred between 5pm and 6pm near the Military Road Junction.

The road has been closed for the time being and motorists are being diverted to take the Tournore Road, Clonea Road and Ballinroad.

Delays are expected due to increased traffic volumes on these local roads.

The extent of any injuries sustained in the collision is not known at this time.
