Motorists in West Waterford are being advised to take extreme caution on the roads this morning due to significant flooding as a result of Storm Babet.
Many roads are impassable, as Waterford remains under a status orange rainfall warning until 1pm.
Youghal Bridge is currently only open to single line traffic and motorists across the county are urged to avoid any unnecessary journeys if possible.
A portion of the sea wall has collapsed on the approach from Kinsalebeg to Youghal and motorists are being urged to take extreme caution in this area in particular.

Flooding in Tallow, Co. Waterford
The entire country is under rainfall warnings today thanks to the arrival of Storm Babet. Cork, Kerry, and Waterford will remain under a Status Orange alert until lunchtime, with significant rainfall already.
Yellow warnings are in place for the rest of the country until between 6 and 8 o'clock this evening. There are concerns about flooding in certain areas, particularly in the South of the country.
