Multiple areas of non-compliance have been identified in HIQA reports on three local centres for people with disabilities.
The reports on Nova Residential Services (Brothers of Charity CLG) in Waterford City and Parkside Residential Services, Kilmeaden (Brothers of Charity CLG) were among 28 such reports published yesterday.
Areas found to be non-compliant in the report on Nova Residential Services were staffing, fire precautions, individual assessment and personal plan, and residents' rights.
Non-compliant areas in the report on Parkside Residential Services were training and staff development, governance and management, premises, fire precautions, individual assessment and personal plan, and residents' rights.
Meanwhile, the report on Comeragh Residential Services in Kilmacow, South Kilkenny which is also run by the Brothers of Charity (CLG) delivers a finding of non-compliance for all areas surveyed, including training and staff development, governance and management, individual assessment and personal plan, protection, and residents rights.
A judgment of non-compliance means the provider or person in charge has not complied with a regulation and considerable action is required to come into compliance.
