Plans are in place to develop a multi-use games area in Dungarvan.
The area would be located in the townland of Ringnasilloge.
A fifteen hundred metre squared multi-use games area is set to be located behind the existing Dungarvan Sports Centre at Quanns, Ringnasilloge, Dungarvan.
The surface will be of a multi-purpose material and will be suitable for use in a variety of sports.
It will include a walking and running track around the outside perimeter.
The plans also include a floodlighting system, basketball hoops, nets and goals and car parking zones.
Set usage times will be agreed and imposed, and proposed screen planting will also reduce the visual impact of the development when viewed from the west.#
