The Waterford based Mount Sion Choir will perform at a prestigious location in New York City today.
The group, which has gained global attention in recent years, will sing in St Patrick's Cathedral on 5th Avenue at 1.45pm local time.
In a tweet, the choir appealed to any Waterford ex-pats in the area to come and watch them perform at the spectacular venue, known as "America's Parish Church" and one of the largest cathedrals in the country.

The choir is on a week-long tour of "The Big Apple" and as part of it, they joined students from the Harlem educational programme for a walking tour and jamming session.
On Tuesday, they sang for the retired brothers in St Joseph's of Iona College, and met with the Waterford Association in Rory Dolans bar in Yonkers.
About the Mount Sion Choir
The choir was set up nine years ago in Mount Sion CBS, a culturally diverse school in Waterford City, where many students were innately gifted at music.
Unfortunately, music was not available as a subject, so the students set up as a lunchtime club, which went on to become known as the Mount Sion Choir.
Over the last number of years, the choir has gathered a dedicated following and has performed at some incredible locations and for some great causes. More here.
