The Central Statistics Office (CSO) has today revealed the top names for babies born in Ireland last year.
Jack and Grace were the most popular names overall in 2023.
Jack was the top boys' name for the seventh year in a row.
Emily has dropped to third place for girls' names, after being number one in 2022.
In Waterford City, Jack also topped the list of boys' names while Fionn was the most popular name in County Waterford.
For girls, Sophia was number one in the City with Ellie clinching top spot in the county.
