Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for Waterford tomorrow.

The warning, for all of Munster, Galway, Laois, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wicklow and Wexford comes into effect at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

It comes as Waterford was hit with severe flooding earlier this week, leading to impassable roads and rivers bursting their banks.

Met Éireann says heavy rain and strong winds will lead to “a risk of flooding and hazardous conditions”.
