A meeting has been held today in relation to the development of Waterford Airport.
Junior Minister in the Department of Transport, Hildegarde Naughton, attended and reiterated that the commitment of funding is still there from government.
As reported in recent weeks, it's understood that a €20 million majority stake in the airport is being purchased by Galway's Comer brothers.
"Things are moving positively for the airport," Minister Naughton told WLR News.
She said there's still a process to be gone through, but that this is the case with all capital projects.
