Gardaí are investigating an incident which took place yesterday, January 21st in The Glen, Waterford City.

At approximately 9:10pm, a crash occurred between a car and a Garda Patrol Van.

The driver of the car, a man aged in his 40s, was conveyed to University Hospital Waterford.

He was treated for non-life threatening injuries following this collision.

No Garda members reported any injuries.

WLR queried whether any arrests were made at the scene.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochana said ‘There is no further information available beyond our statement at this time.’
