An investigation has been launched after a 20 year old man was stabbed to death in Cork.
It happened at a house on Bandon Road last night.
At around twenty-past-nine last night, Gardaí were informed that a 20 year old man received stab wounds.
He was brought to Cork University Hospital, but was later pronounced dead.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.
Thursday night's in Cork are typically busy student nights, and it's understood a fight broke out at a house party.
Gardaí are asking anyone who might have video footage of the incident NOT to share it on social media.
A post mortem is scheduled to take place later today.
Gardaí are to start door to door enquiries this morning and they're appealing for witnesses to come forward.
