A man has died following a workplace accident in Co. Waterford.

Gardai were called to the incident at Belview Port, at around 4:30 yesterday afternoon.

The man was fatally injured when he was emptying his trailer and got caught under contents off loading.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Health and Saftey Authority have been notified and their investigation is ongoing.
