Man dies after being hit by car in Waterford

A man who was hit by a car on the Cork Road in Waterford has passed away.

The incident happened on Tuesday, January 31st at about 7pm at the entrace to the Waterford Retail Park.

The man in his 50s had been in hospital since then.

However, Gardaí have now confirmed that he passed away early yesterday (Tuesday) morning.
