A young man has been hospitalised after an assault in Waterford in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí say they were called to Templar's Hall in the city at about 3.30am, where they found a man in his 20s with injuries.
He has been taken to University Hospital Waterford where he is being treated for his injuries.
The extent of those injuries is not yet known.
