The funeral has taken place in County Waterford of 8 year old Malika Al Kattib who was fatally stabbed at her home in New Ross last Sunday.
Up to 100 people attended the Muslim service yesterday as she was laid to rest at Kilbarry Cemetery following funeral prayers.
Representatives from the Muslim community along with primary school children and neighbours attended the service along with Malika's mother.
There were then prayers for Mailka at the Islamic Centre in Newtown, Waterford City.

A man was charged last Wednesday with her murder and the attempted murder of her mother.
