Derry City 1 - 2 Waterford FC

Waterford FC defeated Derry City in the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium last night. They won 2-1 the same scoreline that gave the Blues a victory there back in August 2018.
Waterford took the lead on the half-hour mark when Shane Griffin cracked home a wonderful free-kick from 20 yards. The hosts equalised on the blow of half-time when Cameron McJannett touched home a Will Patching free-kick from the left side of the penalty area.
The Blues went back in front five minutes into the second half. The Derry goalkeeper Nathan Gartside took down James Waite inside the box.
The Waterford captain Oscar Brennan had his spot-kick saved by Gartside but following through he made no mistake with the rebound. The Blues captain was then sent off with ten minutes remaining after he picked up a second yellow card.

St Pat's 1-0 Bohemians

Elsewhere, St Patrick's Athletic beat Bohemians 1-0 at Dalymount park in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.
Ronan Coughlan scored the winner in the Dublin derby clash, which was St Pat's first victory over Bohemians in 10 games.
The victory sees St Pat's move joint top of the table with Finn Harps.
It finished up 1-1 meanwhile between Drogheda and Finn Harps.
Ollie Horgan's side took the lead in the second-half after a stunning volley from Karl O’Sullivan.
However, Mark Doyle equalised for Drogheda.
