Company BNRG Mothel has applied for a farm located at two sites in the townlands of Curraghduff and Mothel.
The Curraghduff development is to be take place on 35 acres of land while the Mothel site will be across 12 acres.
Residents met in the Clonea Power villlage hall this week to discuss the application.
One of the residents, Vincent Kelly says there are several issues with what's proposed. He says the key concern he would have is that this would
industrialise a rural area that has very scenic views.
He says there hasn't been enough information. He says there was a meeting last Summer which a lot of people did not know about, but other than that they have not been told anything.
Another resident, Pat Murphy, said he would like to hear information from those in favour of the development.
