There was an increase in the live register in Waterford during the month of June.

According to the CSO there are now 7,211 people signing on in the City and County.

That’s an increase of 414 people when compared to the end of May.

However, the figure is 12% lower than the same time last year when 8,201 people were signing on.

The live register typically increases during June and July each year as college courses and school terms come to an end.
