Almost 1,700 homes and businesses in Waterford are without power this morning after overnight thunderstorms.
Just over a thousand customers are affected in the Ferrybank, Slieverue and Glenmore areas while 679 are without electricity in the Passage East and surrounding areas.
ESB Networks are working to repair the faults and hope to have power restored by 11.00am.

A status yellow rain warning was in place overnight for seven counties in the south and south-east including Waterford.
