The number of new cases of Covid-19 in Waterford has dropped by almost a third in the space of a week.
That's according to the latest report from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre.

The report shows that 74 new cases were confirmed in Waterford between Sunday, November 15th and Saturday, November 21st. That's down from 108 cases the week before.
The 7-day incidence rate of Covid-19 in Waterford is now 63.7 per 100,000 people. The week before it was 93.0.
Louth, Donegal, Limerick, Roscommon and Meath all have higher incidence rates than Waterford.
Wexford has the lowest rate at 18.0 cases per 100,000 people.
The median age (of the 74 new cases) in Waterford is 32 and the cases are spread equally between males and females.
