Proud Mount Sion GAA Club member John Flynn received a prestigious honour during a special Late Late Show on Friday night.
He was presented with the inaugural 'Late Late Show Community Spirit Award' during a broadcast celebrating all things GAA.
Members of the public had been invited to honour somebody who had "gone above and beyond" for their club.
John was seated in the audience with fellow club man Eoin Fanning who outlined John's many attributes.
"He's been in our club for three decades or more," he explained. "Everything revolves around John. Any match we play at any age, he's the man."
John was presented with the award by Late Late Show presenter Patrick Kielty and GAA President Jarlath Burns.
"It means everything to me," said John who thanked his family and friends and gave a shout out to all at Mount Sion.
