A large Waterford manufacturing facility is to expand its campus.
Bausch and Lomb has submitted an application for an extension to it's facility in the city.
The application sets out a proposed one-story extension to the Northern side of the existing Bausch + Lomb Waterford facility.
The addition is to include a new open plan and cellular offices.
Works are to include all associated elevational alterations, site works, site fencing, signage, and alterations to internal road network and drainage.
The Waterford site has seen significant development in recent years, with several additional buildings constructed funded by a 90 million investment in 2021.
Bausch and Lomb opened in the city in the 80's, with a strong workforce of over fifteen hundred people.
