Kilmacthomas Fire Service attend car fire near Mahon Bridge

Emergency services attended a car fire between Mahon Bridge and Kilclooney Woods, County Waterford this afternoon.

Fire services were notified at approximately 1.45pm this afternoon and one unit from Kilmacthomas attended the incident on the R676.

The occupants of the car had exited the vehicle and there were no injuries.

Waterford Fire Service say the blaze has now been extinguished.
