A funeral service will take place today to celebrate the life of Jack De Bromhead - who tragically died on Saturday last following an accident at the Glenbeigh Racing Festival in Kerry.

Jack is the son of renowned local trainer Henry De Bromhead, who is best known for training back-to-back Cheltenham Gold Cup wins as well as winning the Aintree Grand National.

13-year-old Jack is the only son of Henry and his wife Heather, and he is survived by his twin sister Mia, and younger sister Georgia.

Tributes have poured in across the world in memory of Jack - who is being remembered as a larger than life caring character who captured anyone he met. Jack was a first year student, and a member of various sports clubs - but his main love was always horses.
